Bowden Environments, LLC is a small company that concentrates on two services: Residential Design and Photography. We provide residential design services to clients that seek a designer that is focused on their needs, desires and detail that only an individual can give. An education in design (B.F.A. & B. Arch (Bachelors of Architecture), RISD)) and a background in design and construction generate truly custom homes designed to be lived in and enjoyed, and a design that your GC can actually build as designed. With the ability to design and document a building for construction (drawings) is the ability to document an existing building for renovation, and for Realtors (residential and commercial), investors and financial institutions that often find a scaled and dimensioned drawing of a building to be very useful. The photographic services concentrates on architectural, real estate and equestrian. An eye for the art of photography creates far more than a high resolution snapshot, whether it is the light, shape and feeling of a grand room or the power and grace of the equine athlete. Building planning & Design Bowden Environments, LLC is a design firm that is small enough to give your project the custom attention that it needs, and you desire. Buildings and the land around them need to be formally planned and designed.  "Design" incorporates much more than esthetics.  It must function as needed while being esthically pleasing; and it must be buildable.  Many fantastic projects on paper have altered greatly while being built from a failure to plan and design the construction adequately.  Contruction is the often forgotten that the step between designing and living there, and that requires a partnership between the designer, the client and the builder.  Having a designer that knows how to build and a builder who knows the value of a well planned design can create beautiful places. We combine years of planning, designing and building experiences with our client's personal vision to look, feel and function as great you dream. Our clients are people that want a home, barn, garage or grounds designed to their needs and wants, specifically for them. We listen to our clients. The home that they dream of having is a combination of their wants (and not wants) and add our expertise in design and construction to make a truly wonderful place to live. Photography We concentrate on two categories of photography:  Equestrian and Places Equestrian photography is the continuation of decades of photgraphing hunter-jumpers, at home and over jumps in the field.  It takes a special timing and feel for the horse to truely freeze the these majestic animals in a moment of time. Architectural photography is also a set of skills to capture a place in time and feeling. Other Services We also put our knowledge and skills to use for real estate agents and general contractors to document existing building.  These plans can go a step further in creating "what-if" design studies.  Many homes and business building are still very good structures, just in need of some updating through remodeling that is more than changing the kitchen cabinets.
